XML is Markup Language used world wide almost in all sectors. It allows user to define his own markup elements. It allows user to encode micro-level structure and information so he can extract, archive and reuse whenever required.

XML allows developers to create their own DTD or Schema, also XML parsers are reasonably simple to build, especially parsers that only check well-formedness. XML is being used to create other standards. XML can already use many of the standards applied to HTML, like Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP). Extensible Style Language (XSL) provides a more complete set of formatting tools than CSS, and is notable for using XML syntax to define its style sheets.
